FORMALITIES FOR EMPLOYING STAFF
- Before hiring any staff, the agency will arrange online interview between the client and the worker, staff will be sent for work only after the client is satisfied.
- 7-days trial period will be given to both client and the worker and during this period the client will pay according to the rate fixed by the agency.
- After the trial period, the agency will take feedback from both client and the worker. If both are satisfied, the worker will continue and local transportation expenses will be borne by the client.
- The client will pay an interest-free refundable security deposit to the agency:
- For domestic helpers: an amount equal to one month’s salary.
- For medical attendants/nursing staff: an amount equal to 15 days’ salary.
This amount will be refunded or adjusted in the worker’s final salary when the services are no longer required.
- Domestic helpers will be employed for 11 months as per the agreement and after completion of the agreement period, the worker’s salary will be revised with minimum increment of 8–10%, and a new agreement will be signed with the agency at least 15 days before the current agreement ends.
- The client must not discuss salary or make any direct financial dealings with the worker. Any mutual agreement with the worker that affect the agency’s interests are not allowed. If such matters come to the agency’s notice, the agreement will be terminated and the security deposit will be forfeited.
- The client shall not employ the worker directly, either during or after the term of this agreement, without first settling all financial obligations and obtaining prior written consent from the agency.
- The worker shall be entitled to two (2) days of leave per month. Unused leave may be accumulated and availed at a later time as required. Any unutilized leave remaining at the end of the contract period shall be encashed and paid by the client.
- The worker’s salary must be sent to the agency on the last day of month and after deducting the monthly service charges, the agency will transfer the salary to the worker’s bank account.
- The client is responsible for the safety and security of the worker and must provide free accommodation, fresh food, and basic toiletry items.
- In case of illness or any emergency, the client must inform the agency immediately and provide proper treatment and rest to the worker. If needed, the agency will arrange a replacement as soon as possible.
- In case of family or personal emergency of the worker, client should allow the worker to take leave and immediately inform the agency so that a replacement can be arranged.
- Any ill-treatment for irresponsible behavior towards the worker is strictly unacceptable and can be reported to the authorities, along with the immediate withdrawal of the worker. Â
